Toys for Tots Website & Mobile

I recently came across the Toys for Tots website and was astonished by how dated it was. I decided to take this opportunity to give the site a refresh but also teach myself Adobe XD, a product that combines UI design capabilities with prototyping. I was interested in learning XD and comparing the differences and similarities from Sketch.

Toys for Tots desktop redesign using XD

On first notice, the interface is very familiar, both for Sketch and Adobe. I found it a breeze to use, and easy to learn because of these similarities. With the interactive prototype built in, you can share the prototype, which can be viewed on the web or with the Adobe XD mobile app. XD prototypes, however, don’t have support for gestures or fixed sections like headers yet, something that is possible on InVision and other prototype-only tools that connect with Sketch.
